Sacred Rok is the vision of Ron Kauk, with the collaboration of Katie Lambert. Sacred Rok is focused in the towns outside Yosemite Valley, and has accomplished their mission “through taking young people on camping trips, educational presentations, and working with other youth-serving agencies” since 2009.

Focused in Lomas Modelo, a rough barrio in Mexico's industrial monster city Monterrey, psychologists & students make weekly outdoor trips to teach kids the tools to choose their own future.

Boys & Girls Club of Eastern Shoshone Tribe, Native Reservation, WYO
mission: enable all young people, especially those who need us most, to reach their full potential as productive, caring, responsible citizens
This club is on the Native American “Wind River Reservation” and in 2018 began connecting with the ICF (International Climber’s Festival) to give youth the opportunity to climb outdoors. They need climbing shoes to get their youth rock climbing.

This social project was created by Fabiano Lopes in São Tomé das Letras, a small town in Brazil with nearby amazing climbing. They need kids’ size helmets, harnesses, ropes, shoes, and belay devices.

Abraham Martínez is making a connection with between Chihuahua’ low-resource Mogotavo (Tarahumara) community and climbers so that locals are both introduced to the sport and benefit from sustainable development. They need helmets, harnesses, ropes, gri-gris, and quickdraws.
Diné Bike Project
Mission: empowering youth of the navajo nation through an active lifestyle.
The Diné Bike Project is works with CycleKids in Navajo Mountain, Chuskas, LCR, Grand Canyon, Carrizo Mountains and Rainbow Ridge, and faces the challenge of finding resources in their remote location. They need helmets, bike parts, bike wear, and hydration gear.
Todos Por La Huasteca
A movement to introduce climbing and outdoor leave-no-trace ethics to locals in Parque la Huasteca.
This program works with at-risk youth program Escalando Fronteras and locals in Monterrey, Mexico’s national park La Huasteca to introduce rock climbing and Leave No Trace ethics through climbing-and-clean-up events, partnering with Mexico Vertical.
